Assembly Instruction

A Ferrita stainless steel exhaust system is easy to assembly.
Instructions applly to passenger cars.

A. Check this!

  1. Check that the wrapping and the goods are not damaged upon delivery. If the wrapping has been damaged, ensure that all goods are intact and hasn't been deformed. If that should be the case please inform your retailer.
  2. Check that your order complies with the goods delivered.

B. Deassembly

Deassemble your old exhaust system. Start at the rear end of the exhaust system and work your way forward. Be careful when you unscrew bolts and nuts on brackets at catalyst and turbo units so that you don't destroy them. Also be careful to avoid any damage to pipes and other delicate parts underneath the car.

C. Assembly

  1. Assemble the Ferrita stainless steel exhaust system. Apply a thin layer of an exhaust assembly paste at the joints between the pipes to prevent any small leakage in the slit joints.
  2. Start in the front of the vehicle and assemble your way backwards piece by piece. At the same time all assembly rubbers are changed. (Assembly rubbers are included in the package on the majority of models, se pricelist)
  3. Assemble the fitting brackets and any bolts and nuts. Make sure that none of the fittings are tightened, everything must be loose. Also make sure that all fitting brackets are assembled at the bottom of the slit on the slitted pipes.
  4. Check that all included parts are assembled and are hanging free in their right positions.
  5. Tighten all brackets, bolts and nuts from the front of the vehicle and backwards. Make sure that the exhaust system allways hangs free without any tensions thoughout the whole tightening process.
  6. Your Ferrita stainless steel system is now assembled and ready to use. Do not check any leakages by constraining the exhaust outlet since this can create great damage to the engine.
